When Japanese coffee machine makers Daito Giken set out in search of exceptional coffee, their journey through Central America eventually led them to Costa Rica and Hacienda Copey Los Grandes. The farm sits high in the Tarrazú mountains at 2,000 metres above sea level, where climate, soil, ecosystem and farming expertise come together to create a remarkable terroir. Hacienda Copey is particularly renowned for its Gesha harvests, earning top honours at the Cup of Excellence competition twice.
