Bolivia’s specialty coffee pioneers, the Rodriguez family is one of those cult coffee dynasties that help define what modern specialty coffee looks like today. They combine Bolivia’s remarkable terroir with ambition, technical skill and a constant drive to improve. Their work spans exemplary coffee farms in Los Yungas, Caranavi and Samaipata, Santa Cruz — a unique coffee-growing region with extraordinary potential.
Beyond their own coffee projects, the Rodriguez family also invests heavily in education. They operate a training centre for local smallholder producers, covering everything from seedling development and pruning techniques to farm management and financial planning.
This coffee comes through SOL DE LA MAÑANA, their collaboration project with smallholder coffee farmers in the CARANAVI region. A long-term project built around relationships, shared knowledge and better opportunities for local producers.
