Finca El Jardín sits on the Fraijanes plateau, near the Pacaya volcano, whose ash still feeds the soil with minerals. The del Cid family has been here for over a century — it all started in 1918, when Pablo’s great-grandfather bought the land. Today the farm is run by Pablo and his family, the third and fourth generation to care for it. When coffee prices dropped, many neighbours replaced their coffee trees with avocados. Pablo could have done the same, but decided otherwise — he began harvesting only fully ripe cherries, built drying greenhouses, and introduced new processing methods. While studying in Sweden, Pablo met Eva from Lithuania. Together they returned to Guatemala and took over Finca El Jardín. In 2024 their work was recognised internationally — at their first Cup of Excellence, they earned 3rd place in the One of a Kind category, with a score of 89.23 points.

Why us?
Experienced because we are first.
We were the first in Lithuania to start roasting coffee. We organized the first barista championships. We're always testing the latest gear and looking for unexpected collaborations because we love being first. When you start something first, you are always the most experienced.
