“Two brothers, one dream, and the land of a thousand hills!” — this is how two enthusiastic Rwandan coffee producers and patriots introduce themselves.

This young, innovative, socially responsible, and modern specialty coffee company operates six coffee processing stations. The largest and highest-capacity station has earned the nickname “The Big Daddy.” Located on the shores of Lake Kivu and surrounded by Rwanda’s rolling hills, RUGALI station stands as the flagship. As the biggest and most productive facility, it proudly carries the name “The Big Daddy.”

In its relatively short history since 2016, the dedication of the families working at Rugali has helped the station become one of the most influential and respected in its community. Rugali coffee has been selected multiple times by baristas competing in both national and international barista championships.
