Origin Story

Dimtu Wate, located in the Hambela district of Guji, collects cherries from roughly 600 smallholder farmers in the villages of Buku Sayisa and Dimtu. The trees here are relatively young (around 10–20 years old), and the station itself was established in 2019 to revive cup clarity and bring back the vitality of the local harvests.
This area is known for clean, transparent profiles that highlight Guji’s high-elevation terroir. Local varieties like Wolichu and Kudhume, together with the well-known 74110 and 74112 selections, deliver a light, fruit-forward cup with floral nuance. During harvest, 100–150 local pickers work daily, and the station maintains a focus on traceability, consistent processing, and community support.
In the cup: tea-like texture, citrus peel, and a gentle peach note — thick, saturated, floral and fruity, modern expression of Guji’s signature elegance.
