An exceptionally rare arabica SUDAN RUME, prized for its elegance and distinctive flavour. Expect red grape, perfumy floral aromas, and a velvety, full mouthfeel like tree sap or coconut water.
First identified in South Sudan, near the Ethiopian border, Sudan Rume still exists as a wild coffee in a small reserve. It is a natural mutation of the Bourbon arabica tree. Due to its extremely low yield and high susceptibility to disease, only a handful of farmers today have the skill and resolve to cultivate it.
Through our relationship with the farmers of Café Pacas in El Salvador, we are able to bring this remarkable variety to you.

Why us?
Coffee comes to us directly from the place of growth.
We travel to her, taste and buy directly from the farmers. That's how we know we're bringing home coffee and not a cat in a bag. And that the money goes to the coffee farmers, not the sellers.
